1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website, engaging our services, or submitting information to Davis Bookkeeping Services ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. Scope of Services
Davis Bookkeeping Services provides bookkeeping-related services including but not limited to:

Accounts payable and receivable

Sales tax organization and support

1099 preparation support
Services are limited to bookkeeping and financial record organization. We do not provide tax preparation, legal advice, or financial advisory services.
3. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:

Provide complete, accurate, and timely information

Grant necessary access to financial systems and documents

Notify us of changes to accounts, systems, or business structure

Review reports and notify us of discrepancies
We are not responsible for errors resulting from incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate information provided by you.
4. No Tax or Legal Advice
Davis Bookkeeping Services does not provide tax, legal, or financial advisory services. We work alongside your CPA or tax professional. You remain responsible for all tax filings, compliance, and legal obligations.
5. Fees & Payment Terms

All fees are outlined in your service agreement or invoice

Setup fees, cleanup fees, and catch-up fees are non-refundable once work has begun

Monthly services are billed in advance

Invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise stated

Late payments may result in suspension of services
6. Cancellations & Termination
Either party may terminate services with written notice. Fees for work performed prior to termination remain due and payable. No refunds are issued for completed work or work in progress.
7. Access & Authorization
By engaging our services, you authorize Davis Bookkeeping Services to access your financial systems on a view-only or administrative basis as required to perform services. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups and records.
8. Confidentiality
All client information is treated as confidential. We will not disclose your information without your consent except as required by law or to provide contracted services.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure. You acknowledge and accept this risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Davis Bookkeeping Services shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the services in the three months preceding any claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Davis Bookkeeping Services from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our services, your data, or your failure to comply with applicable laws.
12. Website Use
You agree not to use our website for unlawful purposes or in a manner that may harm, disrupt, or interfere with our services.
13. Third-Party Services
We may recommend or integrate third-party services such as QuickBooks, payroll providers, or payment processors. We are not responsible for their performance, availability, or policies.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with an updated effective date.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, along with your service agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Davis Bookkeeping Services.
